The heat is on and it's not Husky compatible. We have been taking the dogs to the bark park in the cool of the evening to get out and run. This weekend, we have a visitor. We are the temporary foster parents for Dieter Grey Goose.
He's quite the talker! He's playful and energetic and gets along well with all the dogs at the bark park. He loves to ride in the car and does well if tethered in the back seat. He would like to drive if he had his permit. If you are interested in adopting him, just fill out the online application at Indy Homes for Huskies.
I'm taking the semester off from teaching college. I teach Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, and The Legal Aspects of Health Information Managment. I've experienced some unpleasant things while teaching such as students cheating. Copying word for word into a term paper is not acceptable. I told my students, "if you cheat, I will catch you", and I don't believe many of them believed me. The college requires term papers written in APA style, which is what I had to use in college and still do for my nursing research papers. You would have thought I was trying to get them to write their papers on French. APA is like a foregin language to them. The info on how to use this style is available on the net. I even told them where to get templates for free. It's discouraging to spend hundreds of hours prepping for class, making power point slides, creating lectures, and making up tests and then having students cheat on their final paper. Is this the direction the youth of our future is heading? Are we saying to our students that it's ok to cheat to get ahead? Not in my class. Needless to say, I'm disappointed.
I'm taking custom handbag orders again. I have thousands of embroidery designs, including huskies!
I hope you have a wonderful day. Enjoy the fireworks.

If you've followed my chat, the dogs have zeroed in on a specific area in our backyard. Even in the snow, both dogs are bound and determined to find out what is living in the tree line.
Be sure to check them out in the links on the left hand side of the web page.
These are our two Siberian Huskies, Ellis and Bandit. They are an inseparable duo committed to digging holes, destroying stuffed animals, and providing hours of unsolicited entertainment.
