About Me
You must be bored if you made it this far. I'm a nurse by education, and now a WAHM. My hubby and I have three great kids. Our oldest is a freshman at Franklin College, and our girls are in middle school. To add some excitement to our lives, we adopted a Siberian Husky puppy. To make our lives even more fun, we adopted another husky through a rescue organization. So you want to know what I look like? This is me and my wonderful hubby.
I learned to sew when I was about 4 years old. I started with Barbie clothes and as I grew older, I made some of my own clothes. I have a wonderful old Singer sewing machine that continues to be a work horse. I also have a PC-8200 which is mostly dedicated to machine embroidery. My wonderful hubby has turned our upstairs game room into a sewing room, complete with a TV and LazyBoy recliner! It's a great place to work. My daughters have recently started sewing too and it's nice to share my joy of sewing with them. My sewing room has become the new "gathering place" in our house. Even the huskies enjoy the space. (complete with lots of sunshine and biscuits!)
